The Magic Touch

Do you believe in magic? What if Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny were all real? Would all your childhood memories change?

Now consider this, what if you could text a specific number and get anything you wanted?

Enter Magic. This text-messaging-based concierge service promises to pull strings, place orders, and schedule deliveries so you don’t have to. The enthusiastic goal of the new start-up is to act as a phone number in your contact list, instead of an app, and provide a delivery service for anything you may need. Only catch- it must be legal.

Magic’s target audience are people either too busy or too lazy, however it’s already blowing up resulting in a wait list for gaining access to operators. Exactly how Magic plans to scale its service isn’t exactly known at this point, but so far it seems to be in high demand.

A few basic facts:

  • Only available in the U.S. for now
  • Sign up by texting 408-217-1721
  • Operators are available 24/7
  • Magic charges a fee on top of cost of the products/services you request
