Bendable iPhone 6

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was released just a few days ago and buyers are already finding problems with it. Everyone was excited to see the bigger, faster and thinner iPhone, but many users have found a very troubling flaw with the hardware. The long, thin, metal body seems to be prone to bending.

Ironically, reports recently came out saying the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be the “most durable smartphones ever.”

There are reports claiming the supposed bendable iPhone 6 Plus bends when owners carry them in their pockets for long periods of time. Many iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners have posted pictures and videos of them bending their phone with their bare hands, showing it doesn’t have to be forcefully sat on to produce the effect.

Many other cell phone companies are taking advantage of the bendable iPhone 6. One person has tried bending their Galaxy Note 3, which showed only slight warping. BlackBerry CEO John Chen says their newly unveiled Passport smartphone is much more durable. “I challenge you to bend the Passport,” Chen said at the company’s launch event for the device.

It is unclear whether this will be a widespread problem or just experienced by a small minority who aren’t afraid to social media about it.
