Beauty and the Beast Comes to Dallas

The enchanting story of Beauty and the Best comes to life this season at the Big D

We all know the story (if you don’t I’m afraid you did not have a childhood)-the beautiful Belle is held captive by the hideous cursed beast and only an act of true love can save him. The beloved Disney classic will be in Dallas as a part of the Lexus Broadway 2013/2014 series at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and will be playing for two weeks between April 15, 2014 and April 27, 2014.

The classic love story promises to be a huge success in Dallas, just like it has been in previous best-selling Broadway shows including New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, and Mexico City. The show has been launched in 13 different countries (including Brazil, Spain, and Argentina) and has been an international success. The Dallas production will be no exception. The Disney Theatrical Productions show promises to be nothing short of enchanting with one-of-a-kind numbers, “lavish costumes, well-loved songs”, and an amazing cast. Hilary Maiberger and Darick Pead will take the lead in this beloved story as Belle and Beast. They will be joined by Tim Rogan as the despised Gaston, Kristin Stewart (not the Twilight star but the beautiful Wizard of Oz and Hairspray actress) as Mrs. Potts, and Hassan Nazari-Robati as the funny Lumiere.

West, who was part of the original team that opened the Broadway’s version of Beauty and the Beast in 1994, assures that the Dallas launch will be a “wonderful fantasy”. The show based on the Academy Award-winning film of the same title will deliver an “incredible love lesson” to an audience of all ages.
