Bring on the 4D, Ralph Lauren

September 8th marked an overwhelming day for Ralph Lauren: the opening of the Polo flagship store on Fifth Avenue and the “groundbreaking fusion of fashion and technology.” Look out NYC, the Ralph Lauren runway has gone 4D.

Instead of models strutting your typical catwalk, Ralph Lauren presented four-story high holograms of models debuting his spring collection. A hologram of Lauren himself also made an appearance, taking his bow after the show.  The presentation took place over Cherry Hill lake in Central Park, making the cityscape an enchanting backdrop.

The images were blended with the live-action of the water, paving a new frontier for the fashion runway. Ralph Lauren has always been an innovative designer while maintaining the classic, All-American look. Incorporating this technological innovation into his brand exceeds all of NYFW’s expectations while staying loyal to the essence of Ralph Lauren Polo.

Expect nothing less from Ralph Lauren – so iconic yet fresh and modern. From celebrity attendees to preppy waiters sporting polos and serving lobster rolls, Ralph Lauren’s entrance to NYFW is captivating while maintaing that East Coast charm.
