Most people found out about the Boston Marathon Bombing through social media outlets. But the race to report also resulted in a complete mess of false accusations.
People need to wait until something happens to report it.
Historically, people have learned of most terror events by watching the news on television or receiving a phone call from a loved on to turn on the television and watch the news. But on April 15, 2013, it was the Twitter-verse that got the news out first.
