Buttoned Bears all began three years ago when 3 Baylor Students crammed in a tiny dorm room. From there they paired their passion for fashion and lifestyle brands to create Buttoned Bears. As the years have progressed, so has their foundation.
Living in Waco sparked a sense of creativity and passion for these girls. They felt that Waco had such a special place in their hearts and they wanted to share that same feeling with those around them. From there, Buttoned Bears was born.
Buttoned Bears now have a team of 16 people who all contribute to making everything work.
With a weekly blog and pop up shops around Baylor, The Buttoned Bears team never loses its passion for design and living a life of creativity. Their blogs consist of a wide array of topics. One can find the latest skin care routine or the latest fall fashion trends. The cofounder, Hannah Kleinick, is responsible for choosing the blog topic. From there, they all openly write the blogs together.
In addition, this team of young adults are creating spaces for students at Baylor to express their creativity in a new and unique way. Finding a niche can be hard at college, these three girls wanted to make it easy for young Millennials to get involved on campus. They are helping Baylor grow not only in the creative space, but in friendships as well.
More college campuses can learn from these three ambitious students, and create this same environment on different campuses. Allowing for open creativity and communication lines only prolongs friendships and experience for the future.
