Here I bring you Oscar Social Media 101: It comes as no surprise that such a big night in Hollywood generates amazing content. Taking into account the biggest nominees and talent, I’ve constructed a 101 guide: Who to Follow on social media during the 2017 Oscars.

Lin-Manuel Miranda: Oscar Nominee 

Fresh of the epic success of his broadway musical, Hamilton, Lin-Manuel’s most recent accomplishment is his role in Disney’s Moana. As Miranda celebrates his Oscar nomination for Best Original Song “How Far I Go,” he continues to share updates on his personal social media platforms.

The Oscar host is sure to generate some pretty hilarious social media content, so its a given he will keep things fresh.  Whether it’s his on-going feud with frenemy Matt Damon or politically incorrect comments, stay tuned for some fun.

Viola Davis: Oscar Nominee

A crowd favorite, Davis is nominated for her role in the drama Fences. This night is HUGE for Davis. If she wins, she will be the first Black actress to win an Oscar, Emmy, and a Tony. Stay tuned to see how she celebrates the Oscars on her social media channels
