Thursday night was a popular night to be part of the Dallas Art Fair Gala. Collectors from all over the country came to view and buy art from all over the world. With a total of 80 exhibitors attending, the Dallas Art Fair Gala was not one to miss.
The evening started out with a press preview that included media from all over the DFW area. Questions such as: “Who will be attending? Will any famous artist be at the gala tonight? How did the Art Fair start?” were asked by the media. This event was the grand opening of the Dallas Art Fair Gala and received incredible feedback from media outlets.
The Dallas Art Fair Gala is specifically for art patrons and Dallas’ top collectors to experience the opportunity to preview and purchase exhibited works prior to the public viewing. Premiere Patron and Patron passes only were accepted resulting in over 2000 attendees in one night. The Dallas Art Fair was the one place you wanted to be at on April 11.
For the first time this year, the Dallas Art Fair became international, including exhibitors from Paris, London, and Milan, Italy. Who would have thought that Dallas, Texas could attract such artists? With the increase of Bishop Arts District expanding, this is exactly what this city needed.
Partnering with the Dallas Art Fair was the Dallas Museum of Art, The Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Dallas Contemporary. These four companies came together to create a weekend full of tours, seminars, and mixed media all revolving around art.
