Pin Collective Connects Brands to Expert Content Creators

A few weeks ago, Pinterest announced their newest feature to help businesses operate the Pinterest landscape. Pin Collective connects brands to a hand-picked selection of Pinterest experts. This feature is designed to give brands a direct link to content creators that have proven themselves as accomplished content developers in this platform.

Pin Collective Connects Brands to Hand-picked Content Creators

Pin Collective is available to business users who need extra help developing Pinterest content that delivers results. To accomplish this, Pinterest hand-selected a group of publishers, production companies and independent content creators. These experts have proven themselves to Pinterest as valuable developers of compelling content. The initial Pin Collective group includes publishers, Brit + Co, Tastemade, Refinery29 and PureWow. Selected production shops are The Mill, McBeard, loop88 and Moment Studio. Their list of independent creators includes Kyla Herbes (home design), Gary Arndt (travel), Amanda Holstein (advice for millenials), Peter Lombardi (photography and design) and Sarah Barnes (food). This list of content developers will likely only grow.

Since their addition to the program, the creators are required to meet certain participation requirements. But being included has perks in addition to the connection to clients. Pin Collective members receive education on Pinterest updates and best practices and gain access to Pinterest insights. This allows them to stay up-to-date on the platform and provide their clients with the best service possible.

Though the creators span a range of specialties, businesses interested in using the feature will be paired with an appropriate creator to fit their needs. It’s interesting to note, that though Pin Collective connects brands to these amazing talents, Pinterest itself does not take a cut of the production payment. Each creator sets their own price and the client pays them directly.

Pin Collective Proves Pinterest’s Focus on Corporate Adoption of Pinterest

Pinterest continues to prove itself to be a formidable contender in the world of e-commerce. With their promoted pins, rich pins, Pin Factory and now Pin Collective, it’s clear that Pinterest really means business. As they update their platform to make it more appealing to the corporate world, more and more businesses are learning that they are not a platform to ignore from their social strategy.

Businesses interested in utilizing Pin Collective are encouraged to reach out to their Pinterest partner manager or email pin-collective@pinterest.com.
