Discover Pinterest App Pins

Ever wished you could pin an app on Pinterest? Or find out about new, up-and-coming apps that will make your life a heck of a load easier? Then Pinterest App Pins is definitely up your alley.

Partnering with Apple, Pinterest debuted its newest product, App Pins, which will allow Pinners to find iPhone and iPad apps. Without having to leave the Pinterest site, pinned apps can be downloaded directly to an iOS device by just clicking on the image.

Pinterest App Pins Are a Game Changer

According to Pinterest’s blog post yesterday, their intent is to ease the process of stumbling upon any interesting, new apps– amongst Apple’s current 1.4 million apps– which was originally a daunting task from Apple’s App Store.

In light of this new feature, Pinners will have the opportunity to explore apps that are relevant and fun for their lives. Plus, app developers will have a new outlet to generate buzz for their latest projects, which could lead to Pinterest using Pin Apps as an advertising beacon, much like Facebook and Twitter’s paid options.

Pinterest's New App Pins

Let’s Get to App Pinning

So how does App Pin-ing work? In three simple steps: finding a new App Pin that interests you, clicking on the App Pin (routing you to the App Store’s Preview page), then tapping Install to download the app to your device allows you to download an app in a few swift moves. It’s as simple as it sounds.

By participating in Apple and Pinterest’s newest collaboration, you ultimately save yourself both the time and effort of having to remember which app to download from Pinterest in the App Store. Thank you technology.

To get your App Pin-ing journey started, Pinployees have chosen their favorites on their Staff Picks board and even Apple’s App Store has created a new Pinterest board to kick off the new partnership.
