Twitter is continuing its evolution. Having recently released the Vine app, which allows a user to upload a 6 second video, they are now releasing a Twitter music app. This app is part of the ever growing music apps along with Itunes, Spotify, Rhapsody, etc.
Last week Twitter Music launched as an app on Apple. At first look the new app is very well designed and is extremely fluid and easy to navigate. What is great about this app is that it actually incorporates itunes, spottify and radio . One can clip a photo tile and simply connect to spotify or the radio and play a full song.

Another feature the app boasts is its music discovery. It has four different tabs Popular, Emerging, Now trending, and Suggested. This helps makes Twitter music extremely easy to use. The app also includes “Suggested” lists of artists the user might like based on their music tastes and which artists they follow on twitter.
Despite the promise of it it some frustrating under certain circumstances. I don’t want to want to be forced to follow people just to get music recommendations. This is why I like Pandora radio so much more. Pandora gives the user ability to create a themed-radio station. This gives the listener ability to stream music of their favorite songs along with similar artists without having to search for them. It also gives the listener opportunity to discover new artists without having to try. It is easy and pure.
