Older users usually just wants to look at other peoples content. If that is the case, you can use their website. You can start by creating your account on that website. But if you want to get in on the fun, you will need to download the app on your phone. To do that, go to either the App Store or Google Play and search for the app. Once you find it, the icon looks like the image on the left, install it. Now you can use that account you already created on the website.

Now what…

Remember, Instagram is all about photos and videos, and less about words. So get in on the fun and start taking and posting pictures. Try to make sure to keep your photos colorful and interesting but make sure to caption it so people know what or where it is. People are interested in observing what others are doing. Regardless if the person is older or not. So have some fun with it and don’t be shy.

Whatever you do, do not stealing others content. You can share other people’s posts, if they have allowed resharing and their site is public. Using someone’s content is stealing. So make sure if you use their image, you give them the credit for the photo.

Start using the app and posting pictures. Once you get comfortable doing that, then you can branch out and try other features.
