According to Statista, Facebook has 2.9 billion active monthly users. With that many users, you can see why having a Facebook business page is important. But not just any page will work. You need to have a visually pleasing and engaging page.

No Need to Reinvent the Wheel

If you are not sure where to start, look at some of the best pages already out there, like LL Bean, Shopify, or Zappos. All of these pages are setup to not only tell you about the companies, but they also guide you to their webpages. As you start to plan your page, get ideas from other business pages, but keep your business in mind. What works for one business may not work for yours.

Page Tips

Think of your Facebook business page as a primary source for customer service. Majority of Facebook users will reach out to you through Facebook Messenger. So make sure that your company has users who can respond in a timely manner. You can also setup “instant reply” messages so that your users at least get a confirmation that their message was received. But getting personalized messages is well, more personable and appreciated.

When you start your page, create a content calendar. This way you can plan out your content ahead of time. Facebook offers a calendar within their business pages to assist you with doing this. It also provides you with a list on the right with upcoming National events and holidays, called “Moments.” You can add your own companies important dates as well. To be successful, you will need to post almost daily. The more content you post, the better chance to engage your audience. So set that calendar up and get to creating.
