You might be wondering what the difference is between the TurboScan app and your iPhone’s camera, but trust me there is a difference. TurboScan takes a picture with your camera (or you can access an older picture from your phone’s photo album) and is able to turn the image into a higher-quality image.

Let’s say you need to send someone a signed contract. All you have to do is take a picture of the signed contract with the TurboScan app. TurboScan then detects the edges of the contract, frames the edges, makes the writing clearer, then gives you the option to darken or lighten the image. You also have an option to scan the image in color. Once you have made the proper adjustments to the item you’ve “scanned”, you have the option to email it to yourself (which makes it so much easier for lazy people like me), email it to someone else, convert it to JPEG or PDF, or print it if you have an AirPrint-compatible iPhone printer.
