It’s hard to believe that next year I will be a senior! Time honestly flies by so fast that it feels like just yesterday I was a freshman.
Although I don’t want to leave yet, I’m still looking forward to senior year. I know it will be filled with great experiences, and I’m trying to avoid hard classes to optimize my social life. Ain’t nobody got time for school work senior year!
I’m really looking forward to interning my last year of college. I’ve tried to intern in the semester before, but it has never worked out so well (I basically become addicted to energy drinks). I’m forced to do one for communications, and I will try to do another one that is career related to set myself up for the future. I still don’t know where I will be interning for the fall semester, but I know that things will work out.
Something else I’m looking forward to is being an AARO Leader this coming summer. I have been involved with Orientation every summer so far, and this is basically the final position I can hold within the Orientation office. I can’t wait to welcome the new students throughout the summer, and then get to see their amazing faces during the fall.
Finally, I can’t wait to spend my final year of college with great friends, especially my fraternity brothers. While it will be sad to leave a year from now, I’m going to make the most of my time senior year to hang out with my closest friends. However, I know these friends will be around for life, so I’m not worried at all about seeing them after graduation. I can’t wait for senior year to begin!
