For the people who have never been to Canton, Texas on the First Monday Trade Days, you are missing out! This monthly flea market pops up on the Thursday through Sunday before the first Monday of every month and draws nearly 200,000 to 400,000 people.

It covers 450 acres of land and has over 7,000 vendors. This market offers a variety of items in order to please all customers from across the country. You can find antiques and collectibles, retail clothing, one of a kind artwork, furniture, plants, produce, arts and crafts, and even some furry friends. This flea market has everything you could imagine! This might sound a little overwhelming for a first time visitor trying to navigate their way around, but luckily First Monday Trade Days is on top of their technology game.

First Monday Trade Days has an actual app available for purchase, for $1.99, on the iTunes Store.  The Canton Trade Days app features coupons, a map, locations of nearby ATMs, directions, a vendor list, restroom locations, scooter rental locations, and a calendar of when the monthly trade days are.

When I first experienced First Monday Trade Days in Canton, I was completely overwhelmed. When I expressed my concern to a friendly vendor was able to explain that I could download an app on my phone that would solve all of my problems! Even though $1.99, at the time, seemed a little pricey for a flea market app, I quickly took her advice. Once I downloaded the app it made my experience at Canton very simple, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my shopping. I was even able to locate vendors by category in order to find specific items I was looking for. Kudos to First Monday Trade Days for being on top of their technology game and making their flea market an enjoyable shopping experience.
