1. Deleting Photos in a Carousel

Ever needed to delete just one photo of your carousel? This is a new life hack is one to know. Before Instagram updated their software, users had to delete the post entirely if they wanted to changed or delete a photo in their carousel. Well now, you don’t have to!

1. Go to the post and tap the three dots in the right corner of your screen
2. Press edit
3. Swipe to the photos you would like to trash
4. Press on the trash can icon in the top left corner

Poof! It’s now gone from your feed! Forever! Just kidding, if you really need it back, Instagram will keep deleted items in folder for 30 days if you change you mind. What a life hack!

2. A Life Hack to Finding an IG Post Quickly and Effectively

Want an easy way to organize and save Instagram post within the app? Well now you can because Instagram has an ingenious hack for saving posts. Collections allows you to sort post into different categories you wish to label them by.

1. Start by tapping on your profile and the three lines on the top right corner
2. Press Saved
3. Tap on the plus sign
4. Enter a name and press Next
5. Organize your saved post into these categories however you wish then press done

Now, you can always go back to your collections whenever you want to reference an Instagram post.

3. Stop Seeing Post and Stories Without Unfollowing

Tired of seeing someone’s post but don’t want to hurt any feelings with a unfollow. Instagram has a way of muting profiles. Here’s how:

1. Go to the account you would like to mute
2. Press on the following button
3. Tap mute
4. Feel free to choose if you want to mute post or include stories too
