We have all heard of politicians buying votes, but who would have thought that people will buy Twitter followers? Celebrities are buying groups of Twitter followers to boost their digital networks and profiles. The big question behind this inflation is why do it?
There really is a simple answer to that question: the more followers a group has, the more visibility they gain in the end. People are more likely to pay attention to the celebrity who has 100,000 followers than 10,000 followers. Celebrities are buying groups of Twitter followers to help promote their image in the digital world.
The amazing part of all of this is that it is super cheap to purchase followers. For example if you were to pay just $5.00, you would get 10,500 followers. It is no wonder that celebrities are buying groups of followers if it is this cheap.
Inflating the number of followers you have on Twitter is not illegal, but it is pretty depressing that someone is so shallow that they buy fake followers to make themselves look more popular. Hopefully, these people will figure out that buying fake followers really does nothing for your image, especially when people find out that you have purchased fake followers.
